As CBD oil becomes more popular, a lot of people are speaking out about how the cannabis extract helped them with various health issues. The support for CBD oil is overwhelming and it is coming from everywhere; including from A-List celebrities. When you think of celebrities and cannabis, the first names that come to mind are Snoop Dogg, Seth Rogen, or Willie Nelson. Obviously, these celebs may enjoy having some recreational marijuana; however, there are many others who prefer to use cannabis and CBD oil products for medical purposes. Below is a list of famous celebrities who use CBD oil:


  1. Whoopi Goldberg


For the past three decades, Whoopi Goldberg has been one of the most successful female entertainers having won an Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and Academy Award. Whoopi is an outspoken cannabis advocate and proudly supports the use of CBD oil as a health supplement. Whoopi loves cannabis so much that she teamed up with Maya Elizabeth to start Maya and Whoopi, a company that sells cannabis products. One of her main goals is to show the benefits of CBD particularly for middle-aged women facing problems like nerve pain, menstrual cramps, and menopausal discomfort. Whoopi often uses a vape pen to treat pain, stress, and her glaucoma. She fully supports people being allowed to consume CBD at work since the compound is non-psychoactive.


  1. Montel Williams


Long-time talk show host Montel Williams has been advocating for cannabis and CBD for almost two decades now. In 1999, Montel was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a chronic disease that attacks the nervous system causing pain and discomfort all over the patient’s body. After his diagnosis, Montel struggled with depression for a couple of years to the point that he tried to commit suicide. However, shortly after that Montel began consuming CBD, which proved to be vital for pain and mood management. Currently, Montel consumes cannabis-based products on a daily basis and believes the CBD is the only reason he is able to function well.


  1. Jennifer Aniston


Back when Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married, they were branded as stoners. After the breakup, the rumor faded but Jennifer still uses marijuana for medical purposes. Back in 2001, Jennifer admitted she enjoyed smoking marijuana from time to time but she would not call herself a pothead. Now, Jennifer says she takes CBD to help with her stress, pain, and anxiety.


  1. Morgan Freeman


An actor, narrator, and fierce cannabis advocate, Morgan Freeman has been using cannabis for over a decade now. Freeman started advocating for cannabis openly in 2008 after he was involved in a nearly-fatal road accident. After recovery, Freeman developed fibromyalgia which caused intense pain and discomfort. Morgan decided to use plant medicine and that’s when he began using cannabis. He consumes CBD for its natural pain relieving properties and also uses THC to treat his fibromyalgia.

Victoria’s Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio swears by Cannabidiol oil to help her with anxiety and sleep. In an interview, Alessandra mentioned that for models, it is important to get at least 8 full hours of peaceful sleep to be ready for the runway. With so much stress involved before an upcoming show, it can be hard getting enough sleep. When she’s anxious or needs to sleep, she relies on CBD oil to ease the anxiety.

Back in 2016, famous UFC fighter Nate Diaz shocked everyone during a post-fight press conference when he used his CBD vape pen as he addressed the media. When questioned about the vape pen, Diaz said it contained CBD and explained that it helped with the inflammation and healing process. He also said that it helped him relieve pain after fights and training.

Michael has been a long-time sufferer of Parkinson’s disease, a chronic disease that causes people to lose control of their muscles and severe pain at times. Since it has no cure, Michael decided to try cannabis to counteract the negative effects of the disease. According to him, the CBD made his life much easier and even helped him extend his acting career for many years.

If you are a fan of 70’s stoner movies, you must have seen one of Tommy Chong’s famous movies. Chong was popular in the 70’s because of his comedies about recreational pot smoking. However, like many CBD advocates, Chong’s support for CBD oil was a product of necessity, not recreation. Chong was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012 and credits the use of CBD oil as one of the main reasons he was able to get the cancer out of his system. He is a strong advocate for medical marijuana and also owns a company that sells cannabis products.

Busy Phillips is now making huge waves in the CBD oil community as well. Phillips has opened up about her personal struggles with mental health issues like anxiety and how CBD has been instrumental in helping her cope. She used CBD gummies to help calm down after anxiety or panic attacks.

Seth Rogen built his acting career as the “stoner” in many of the movies he has been in. The first thing people think when they hear his name is cannabis and his weird laugh. However, Seth is actually one of the biggest advocates for medical marijuana as prevention for Alzheimer’s disease. Seth believes so strongly in CBD as prevention for Alzheimer’s disease that he was invited to speak at a Senate hearing about Alzheimer’s research.


  1. Olivia Wilde


After performances, there is nothing Olivia Wilde loves more than using her CBD cream to relieve pain and soreness. Olivia told the New York Times that she needs CBD oil to relieve physical pain during Broadway. Her fashion stylist, Karla Welch, uses CBD lotion on all her clients’ feet every time they walk the red carpet. According to Wilde, the CBD has relaxing benefits and it helps her avoid using painkillers.
